This
is a selection of Lone Ranger cover artwork
commissioned by Dell Publishing in the 1950's,
often referred to as the "Golden Age"
of comic magazines. At the request of George
Delacorte, the publisher, these works were
signed as "Hank Hartman" in keeping
with the Western theme. Throughout Henry Hartman's
career, these are the only paintings signed
in this manner. Later, several other companies published Hartman's Lone Ranger artwork around the world.
